I am a research scientist with the group since 2011. But already since 2005 it is my pleasure to do research at the MAinz MIcrotron MAMI.

During my diploma thesis in the group of Prof. Metag at the Justus-Liebig-University Giessen I built a small prototype detector for the electromagnetic calorimeter for PANDA. I studied the performance of the prototype, consisting of nine PbWO4 crystals read out with large area APDs, in the A2 hall at MAMI.

For my PhD thesis "in-medium properties of the omega meson studied in photonuclear reactions near the production threshold" I performed several experiments using the Crystal Ball / TAPS detector setup as a member of the A2 collaboration at MAMI.
